About the Role:
We're seeking an Area Manager PMO Lead to establish and maintain effective programme controls across the Asset Creation Non Infrastructure Programme Delivery portfolio. In this role you will be responsible for the implementation of appropriate processes relating to planning and control of resources critical to delivery, as well as risk, finance and score-card management. Day to day aspects of this role include determining programme resourcing requirement, leading monthly ACNI Programme Steering groups and One Supply Chain Programme boards. Other elements of this position include working collaboratively with multiple functions across STW in order to achieve the best outcome for our customers, as well as monitoring and challenging against programme plans and performance objectives, with emphasis on highlighting variance from plan, risks and corrective actions.
The successful candidate will have relevant and demonstrable experience in the successful management, planning and delivery of major programmes of work. Considerable and comprehensive knowledge of programme and project controls processes and the associated systems is also essential, along with good interpersonal, communication and organisational skills. A proven track record of effective leadership of people is also vital. Desirable for the Area Manager PMO Lead role is both knowledge of, and experience in risk management, as well as an understanding of the water industry.
