Reports To - Functional Manager or delegate: Delivery Lead
Purpose of Position: Assist the Project Manager in the operational delivery of the project, managing project deliverables and interfaces to ensure the project is executed in a safe, efficient, cost effective and timely manner.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES OF POSITION:
•Assist the Project Manager in reviewing project communications and identifying key issues requiring action/response.
•Review and finalisation of project procedures in consultation with key project personnel
•Responsible for ensuring the project team is contractually aware of their respective responsibilities, scopes of work and deliverables.
•Responsible for collating and updating deliverable progress in EcoSys weekly.
•Responsible for liaising with the Cost Controller and Planner to provide a weekly analysis of project status.
•Responsible for ensuring change orders are raised correctly in EcoSys, agreed with the Customer and documented in accordance with the project requirements.
•Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance system.
•Responsible for overseeing the development of the individual Project Quality Plans.
•Responsible for ensuring adherence to the WorleyParsons EMS.
•Responsible for coordinating project audits and close-out of audit reports.
•Responsible for personal safety safe working practices for the various projects within the BP AGT Services Contract portfolio. Understand and follow OH&S procedures.
•Demonstrate the behaviour and business practices outlined in WorleyParsons Vision, codes, policies, procedures and standards (Processes). Implement these Processes, ensure personnel have access to them, regularly undertake reviews to assess compliance, and refer serious breaches to the relevant person or committee.
•Comply and keep up-to-date with the behaviour and business practices outlined in WorleyParsons Processes, and with all applicable laws, regulations and standards.
•Deliver quality services and demonstrate a commitment to understand and meet customer needs.
•Demonstrate a visible and active commitment to achieving the OneWay Vision and its associated requirements.

•Travel as required, including travel related to projects and to maintain links with other WorleyParsons offices.

•Perform any other duties that are reasonably required from time to time.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS / COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
•Strong technical background working on oil and gas projects.
•A proven track record working on large international engineering projects with previous experience as a Project Engineer on front end engineering design through to the construction phases of projects.
•High levels of enthusiasm, ability to self-manage, strong analytical skills.
•Sound understanding of applicable local & international engineering standards and codes of practice.
•Demonstrable commitment to HSE management in a project environment.
•Working knowledge of industry standard business support systems i.e. project planning packages, cost management systems, ISO9001 quality management systems.
•A high level of customer focus to ensure customer satisfaction.
•Quality Assurance knowledge, awareness and responsibility.
•Safety awareness and responsibility.
•Previous experience of working within a multi-cultural and multi-discipline environment. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to deliver exceptional results in demanding project environments.
•Understands WorleyParsons Vision and purpose, how the business delivers value to shareholders, what drives profitability and what increases growth.
•Excellent self-management skills, including the ability to work on own initiative, plan, set goals; and manage time, priorities, resources, accountabilities, schedules and cost.
•Negotiates successful outcomes that achieve the required objectives and have the support and acceptance of all parties.
•Excellent interpersonal skills. Able to build effective business relationships with WorleyParsons personnel, its clients, contractors and other relevant parties.
•Excellent verbal and written communications skills, including the ability to convey information and ideas to individuals and groups.
•Demonstrates initiative and a willingness to learn and continuously improve on performance.
•Able to work effectively in small to large multi-disciplinary teams, and share and transfer knowledge within teams.
•Technical, practical and leadership experience in engineering, construction and/or commissioning. Experience in building strong people relationships (both internal and external) general management practices and experience in managing and leading a team.
•Approximately 8 years, with a minimum of 5 years project engineering experience in a multi-discipline team environment.
Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:
•Minimum Degree or equivalent in Engineering.
•Chartered Status desirable but not essential.
