The Raytheon Trident Program is seeking a highly-motivated multi-disciplined engineer to join a system simulation group that is responsible for designing, developing, validating, and maintaining dynamic simulations and infrastructure for rapid assessment, integration, and test of complex systems. Simulation applications range from high-level behavioral simulations to visualize and evaluate system concepts, to high-fidelity real-time simulations and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) infrastructure to support development, integration, test, and sustainment of systems and software. |
The selected candidate will join a multi-company team working at a customer site in Cambridge, MA. We are seeking a "simulation engineer" with demonstrated experience in developing HWIL systems. A working knowledge of MATLAB or other simulation tools is required, along with C/C++ software development in Unix/Linux and Windows environments. Linux kernel development and kernel drivers is also desired.
The ideal candidate would be familiar with interface specifications for SPI, I2C, MIL-STD-1553, RS232, RS422, and Ethernet, as well as synchronization protocols such as DDS and PTP. The ideal candidate would also feel at home working in a hardware electronics system integration and test laboratory, and would have experience developing and debugging real-time simulation models and/or emulators of hardware and instruments.
BS or higher degree in a related field: Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Physics; advanced degree a plus
