Job Description |
Responsible for administration and day-to-day operation of the 2nd Regional Cyber Center LAN.
ï¿½ Install and configure LAN devices in support of multiple mission areas and physical locations; including but not limited to data center equipment racks and telecommunications closets
ï¿½ Ensure all network devices and configurations are compliant with current DoD and Army regulations and security requirements
ï¿½ Maintain LAN performance through monitoring and analysis of network activity; troubleshoot and resolve network performance issues
ï¿½ Ensure LAN diagrams are complete and accurate
ï¿½ Responsible for the acquisition; installation; maintenance; and usage of the organization's local area network.
ï¿½ Provide support for additional organizational initiatives; as required
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science; Engineering; or a related technical discipline; or the equivalent combination of education; technical certifications or training; or work experience.
Requires High School degree + 7 yrs similar experience OR an Associate's degree + 5 years related experience; OR a Bachelor's degree and 3 years related experience.
0-2 years of directly related experience in network analysis and design.
Depending on degree obtained (please see education requirements) at least 3+ years of related experience
Ability to obtain and maintain Secret-level security clearance Willing to work overtime; holidays; and weekends as necessary Security+ CE (or higher) required to start CCENT certification within 5 months of start date
