Provide technical support for the following equipment: AN/USQ-119 GCCS-M 3.x; AN/USQ-172 GCCS-M 4.x; AN/USQ-151 Joint Tactical Terminal (JTT); AN/USQ-141 Commanders Tactical Terminal (CTT); Passive Link Tap; and USQ-188 Radiant Mercury. Technical support includes but is not limited to engineering/technical evaluations; equipment functional checks; troubleshooting/test/analysis and equipment repair; operation; maintenance; and/or connectivity faults. Assist ship's force technicians and government personnel at assigned locations to analyze and resolve malfunctions detected during equipment operation and testing.
Associates Degree in a related technical discipline; or the equivalent combination of education; technical certifications or training; or work experience.
Completed technical training for the following equipment: AN/USQ-119 GCCS-M 3.x; AN/USQ-172 GCCS-M 4.x; AN/USQ-151 Joint Tactical Terminal (JTT); AN/USQ-141 Commanders Tactical Terminal (CTT); Passive Link Tap; USQ-188
8-10 years of directly related experience supporting engineering operations.
Experience shall have been gained within the last 8 years: AN/USQ-172 GCCS-M 4.x
Working conditions: Some portions of the work is typically performed in an industrial; shipboard; or shipyard environment; which requires proper safety precautions. The work requires moderate physical effort in the handling of materials; tools; cables; and other equipment. Must be able to carry up to 50 pound loads.
