Cybersecurity Operations Intermediate Security Analyst
Job Responsibilities: We are seeking a Cybersecurity Operations Intermediate Security Analyst to support an operations team that supports a large government customer. The candidate will be relied upon to assist teammates and perform troubleshooting as needed. The candidate should excel in a fast-paced work environment and be willing to face new challenges.
ï¿½ Proficiency with vulnerability scanning; remediation and reporting
ï¿½ Knowledge in web application scanning using various tools
ï¿½ Demonstrated proficiency with Windows; UNIX; & LINUX operating systems
ï¿½ Experience working in a customer service information technology environment
ï¿½ Network security and system security experience
ï¿½ Ability to discuss real world troubleshooting; problems and solutions encountered
ï¿½ Knowledge of IT security best practices; US federal government standards; regulations and policy (FedRamp; TIC; NIST 800-37rev1 & 800-53rev3)
ï¿½ Must be motivated and able to work independently
ï¿½ Proven project leadership (PowerPoint presenting; MS Project Planning)
ï¿½ Experience working with change implementation in a controlled environment
ï¿½ Excellent verbal; written communication and technical writing skills
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline; or the equivalent combination of education; professional training or work experience.
2-5 years of related experience in data security administration.
Experience using some of the following tools: o Nessus o Tenable Security Center o Netsparker o WebInspect o BurpSite US Citizen (REQUIRED). Must be able to obtain a DOE Q Clearance or have a current TS/SCI clearance. Preferred candidate will have a current TS/SCI clearance that can be transferred to DOE Q.
