Manages and is responsible for the successful completion of all tasks in assigned program area including technical work; staff supervision; financial and business development activities.
At this level; the position is typically responsible for program(s) with annual revenues of $10-15 million.
At this level; the position is typically responsible for managing 50-100 employees both exempt and non-exempt and including one or more subordinate supervisors and managers - working on multiple projects and tasks.
NOTE Position level may also be determined by the scope and complexity of the program; not just revenue and staff amounts.
ï¿½ Reports status of supported mission capabilities to SOC Chief.
ï¿½ Ensures properly qualified personnel are available to augment staff.
ï¿½ Supervises contractor's personnel (e.g.; compliance with policies and SOPs; scheduling;
and back office operations).
ï¿½ Assembles and delivers reports as needed.
ï¿½ Makes recommendations for continuous improvement of policies and procedures.
1. Bachelors Degree in a related business or technical discipline; or the equivalent combination of education; technical training; or work/military experience.
2. Professional certification (PMP) preferred.
10-12 years of related program management experience.
Experience in management of broad-based IT programs
management of systems development and
management of systems integration
management of complex network designs
management of network administration;
management of telecommunications
management of IT security engineering
management of research and operations
management of systems analysis; business
process analysis; and data processing
Demonstrable field experience in one or more of the
following disciplines•IT security (technical and/or
management; not policy/procedure)
Knowledge of SOC operations and experience in managing SOC staff.
At least five (5) years of experience performing quality management functions for programs focused on service delivery in an IT environment.
Demonstration and understanding of and competence in ISO2000
Superior organizational skills; attention to detail; and
demonstrated commitment to the accuracy and ompleteness of information
Advanced customer service skills.
