Job Description |
Experienced in DoD security management, Public Key Infrastructure, Risk Management Framework, Information Assurance policies, Firewalls, computer network operations, automated information security, physical, industrial and personnel security.
Extensive experience in providing help desk support to internal and corporate clients across diverse organizations.
Experienced in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving client issues with hardware maintenance, installations, and upgrades.
Routinely monitors numerous network Firewalls IAW with DoD and Defense Information Systems Agency directives, manages firewall waiver processes to ensure continued network security.
Provide training to IA personnel and identifies and corrects areas of noncompliance in Firewalls and personnel actions.
Performs Computer Security Incident Response reporting, available for periodic system audits and vulnerability scanning to ensure compliance, and recognizes intrusion attempts and compromises.
Routinely identifies security issues for remediation.
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.
2-5 years of related systems engineering experience.
Candidate will work one of three standard shifts (0730 - 1630, Noon - Midnight, or Midnight to Noon)
Candidate must have Security + CE and IAT Level II Certification (Operating System, CCNA, CASP, CCNET, MCSN, etc.).
DoD 8570.01-M; Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program certifications IAT Level II certifications; such as Security Plus Certification and OS cert; prefer current Cisco Certification (CCENT; CCNA or JUNOS;)
