Job Description

  • Support EDI processing and the CRaFT financial system, Analysis and implementation of new EDI and HIPPA standards.

  • Work with CMS on change requests

  • Develop and support business processes and transaction mapping within SI5.

  • Perform software upgrades

  • Troubleshoot and resolve data issues for customer service representatives.

  • Provide production support for nightly batch cycles including claims and section 111.

  • Attend CMS work group edits meetings

  • Experience with IBM Mainframe, Linux, UNIX, Windows

  • May program in an administrative language.

  • Develops and implements testing strategies and document results.

  • Provides advice and training to end-users.

  • Provides guidance and work leadership to less-experienced staff members.

  • Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.

  • Participates in special projects as required.
Out Of Hours Support

This position requires the candidate to help provide 24/7 support for critical systems incidents as part of a collaborative team of system administrators/engineers in an out-of-hours schedule and structure to be determined by team leadership and management.

The candidate is also expected to participate in evening and weekend support of planned changes such as application releases, system maintenance and emergency changes.


Bachelors or Associates Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience


10-12 years of directly related experience in systems administration and analysis.
