Manages the functionality and efficiency of a group of computers running on one or more operating systems.
Out Of Hours Support
This position requires the candidate to help provide 24/7 support for critical systems incidents as part of a collaborative team of system administrators/engineers in an out-of-hours schedule and structure to be determined by team leadership and management.
The candidate is also expected to participate in evening and weekend support of planned changes such as application releases, system maintenance and emergency changes.
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
5-8 years of directly related experience in systems administration and analysis.
3 - 5 years experience with application administration and maintenance in a LINUX/UNIX (Solaris 10+) environment including shell script development and debugging.
Working knowledge of JBOSS AS, Java, and PKI.
Security+CE and either UNIX, Red Hat, Oracle/Solaris certification preferred.
