Job Description

Supports customer logistics requirements through the analysis, organization, planning and administration of various phases of day-to-day provisioning, spares, maintenance and/or repair activities.

1. Analyzes standard contractual documents, technical data, customer usage data, customer maintenance practices, customer operation characteristics, and related reports for assigned contracts to determine spares provisioning or maintenance/repair requirements.

2. Develops logistics plans in order to enhance distribution of goods and supplies.

3. Follows established policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure quality and cost control.

4. Conducts distribution and network studies, monitors inventory and analyzes requirements in order to develop strategies to achieve desired delivery times.

5. Provides guidance and work leadership to less experienced staff members.

6. Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.

7. Participates in special projects as required.


Bachelors Degree in a related discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work/military experience.


5-8 years of related experience in logistics, traffic and/or supply chain management.

  1. Receive inventory, reconcile against Purchase Orders, and capture inbound equipment within comprehensive asset records

  2. Establish effective distribution and tracking procedures for Contractor Acquired and Government Furnished Government Property, fiscally and physically

  3. Develop appropriate storage processes for spare inventory

  4. Execute RMA's as equipment experiences failures; track appropriately

  5. Develop automated solutions for local reporting issues with database tools and spreadsheets

  6. Ensure excess and obsolete inventory is destroyed appropriately; report to the Customer via correct and accurate documentation

  7. Comprehensive knowledge of the principles, methods, processes, and applicable regulations involved in supporting logistics operations.

  8. Comprehensive knowledge of relevant technology and equipment.

  9. Specific certifications may be required, depending on job assignment.

  10. Must be able to achieve Security+ CE Certification (or equivalent) within 90 days of hire for positions requiring elevated privileges and ITIL V3 Foundation within six months of hire.

  11. Spanish speaker preferred. Ideal candidate will read, write, and speak Spanish fluently. Portuguese is a plus.
