Functional Responsibility: The ideal candidate shall have practical working experience using Microsoft Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and working knowledge of SharePoint 2007 and SharePoint 2010 and will be comfortable interacting with customers, IT staff, and the management team. The candidate shall have demonstrable and current expertise in all aspects of the CRM product and be comfortable working in both individual contributor and team environments. Ideally, the candidate will have DefenseReady experience. The successful candidate will need to have experience planning, troubleshooting, customizing and configuring CRM reports while supporting users in order to be successful in this position. Highly desired individual with SOF experience or have a good understanding of SOF organizations.
Specific Responsibilities: You will be required to perform technical analysis of requirements, recommend solutions, estimate project timelines and levels of effort. You will be required to organize, build, and maintain effective SharePoint Site Collections. Gathering customer requirements, planning site/content organization, and list/library creation.
Additionally, you will be responsible for:
Provide support in entering and verifying data and military records as they relate to Personnel Tempo (PERSTEMPO) as well as other elements and features as they come online within DefenseReady (CRM)
Train individuals as necessary, providing insight and instruction on the use of DefenseReady
Identify issues within the system, and provide recommendations to supported units on the best possible ways of using the DefenseReady system to meet their units tasks and reporting requirements
Maintain a clear line of communication to the other Portal and Business Intelligence Specialists to promote collaboration and identification of other units use of the system
Support requests for new features and provide a channel of communication from the assigned unit to the Lead Business Intelligence Specialist
Work towards gaining an intimate understanding of their assigned units needs, work as that units advocate in generating requirements for potential new features, and recommend efficiencies to be gained from using the DefenseReady system to streamline reporting processes and eliminate outdated systems
Serve as the primary element to provide Tier II resolution of DefenseReady incidents and issues and shall track to conclusion all incidents and issues elevated to higher tier support
Granting user permissions and accounts to CRM
Respond to Trouble Tickets in accordance with set timelines and documents all discoveries and work performed as required
Track support requests through the ISD Remedy system
Ability to integrate CRM into SharePoint utilizing Business Intelligence and Dashboards
Background & Experience (including education, skills work activities):
Ability to obtain a Secret and/or Top Secret security clearance
Must have the ability to accurately recall policies and procedures and have the ability to multitask
Work well both individually and with others
Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively and courteously with customers
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
0-2 years of directly related experience in systems administration and analysis.
DOD 8570 IAT 2 compliance obtained within 6 months of hire (Security+ or equivalent cert)
• Ability to troubleshoot CRM Issues and work with other developers on technical solutions
• Understanding of Application and Web Servers
• Understanding of SharePoint Capabilities and Features
• Ability to learn on the job and take the initiative to ensure current and future individual and team success
• Tools experience using: SharePoint Designer, InfoPath, Visual Studio
