A group company within NTT DATA currently seeks a Agile Business Analyst to join our team in Quantico, VA. MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE TOP SECRET CLEARANCE TO BE CONSIDERED.

Position Functions or Responsibilities: Job Duties
The Agile Business Analyst's main responsibility will be to ensure the operational efficiency and excellence of the organization. The incumbent will design and document work flow, manage and provide solutions to new business unit ideas, trends, and concepts appropriately through the latest technological paths. This person will also understand the customer's business requirements and business process management, and then translates them to particular software requirements. Listed below are the Primary responsibilities-
  • Capture users' goals, and develop information delivery options that meet business requirements and enhance the overall user experience.
  • Work with the product owner, Scrum Master, customers and developer to write user stories which are independent, negotiable, valuable, estimable, small and testable
  • Responsible for ensuring user stories include validation criteria which reasonably covers all areas necessary for complete testing of the new functionality
  • Act as an interface and customer advocate to ensure customer and stakeholder needs are being addressed.
  • Analyze functional requirements and system models to determine missing elements
  • Collaborate with and support developers during their design and development efforts to provide support for their analysis of the story
  • Provide additional support and guidance to clients during the implementation phase to include development of training resources
  • Write user help documentation
  • Develop system design documentation
  • Participate as a member of the Development team
  • Validate that product deliveries meet customer requirements
  • Optionally attend daily Scrum stand-ups
  • Represent the customer and requirements during backlog grooming sessions
  • Attend Sprint planning and retrospectives
  • Improve and expand knowledge and skills sets with regard to current trends and charges in software development industry
  • Proactively contribute to the quality of the product by seeking and proposing new or alternate approaches to address the organizations business problems

Basic Qualifications: Required Qualifications :
  • Have 5+ years demonstrated experience as a requirements or business analyst
  • Have 2+ years working in agile teams and developing user stories
  • Experience writing user stories
  • Experience using Business Process modeling tools and standard modeling conventions
  • Experience in system analysis and troubleshooting to analyze, isolate, and document problems/issues, identify risks, and develop options/solutions
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Ability to define project goals and work independently to compete projects while adhering to established schedules
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience-5-7 years of relevant IT experience
  • Must have an active Top Secret security clearance
Desired Skills :
  • Experience as a technical writer, especially with regards to writing systems and help documentation
