General description
Based on the needs and requirements of the engineering functions, the role of process and tools service is to define, implement and support custom and integrated web solutions aligned with the Bombardier business aircraft engineering processes.

Reporting to the Process and Tools Engineering Section Chief, in your role, you will:
  • Design and develop web application to optimize engineering processes;
  • Analyze customer needs and constraints;
  • Play an active role in the project development planning;
  • Test, diagnose and solve problems with the currently used applications;
  • Provide user support;
  • Write technical documentation;

As our ideal candidate:
  • You have a university or (technical) college degree in computer development and/or equivalent experience;
  • You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in web application development;
  • You have good skills of Scala, Java or others functional programming languages;
  • You have good skills with web frontend technologies (HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript);
  • You have good knowledge of SQL Server and Oracle;
  • Experience with Akka, Play Framework and React is an asset;
  • Experience with PLM and ERP (SAP) is an asset;
  • You are organized, a good planner and problem solver;
