We are looking for Head of Planning & Performance to be based in Durban, South Africa
To ensure the roll out, deployment and performance of the core Planning, Scheduling & Resource Planning processes in the project including availability of sufficient trained and motivated specialist staff.
To work closely with Group PM Planning & scheduling to ensure the success of the Bombardier Integrated Planning solution based on Primavera EPPM
1- Develop and ensure deployment and performance of core Planning, Scheduling & Resource Planning processes in the Project
2- Monitoring project and ensuring alignment to the relevant processes.
3- Establishing and running an effective Key User network for support and improvement of planning & scheduling
4- Actively participating in the Group Planning & Progress Controls Network with counterparts across BT
5- Ensuring that EPPM data (portfolio, project, resource) for the Region/Business portion of the OneBT Primavera database is current and high quality.
6- Managing the project part of the PM, ENG and Commercial resource pools in Primavera
7- Providing specialist support to Critical Projects of the Region/Business in the area of Planning, Scheduling & Resource Planning
8- Work closely with Commercial Team to protect BT interests and provide contemporaneous records and forensic analysis as required for commercial dispute resolution.
• Engineering degree with at least 10 years working experience in project, thereof 5 years experience in project planning and scheduling
• International experience is advantageous, comfortable working in multiple cultures
• ability to build bridges and relationships internally as well as externally
• Can Lead and inspire virtual and distributed teams
