Project Manager- SimplexGrinnell

About the role:

Oversees and directs construction management. Communicates directly with contractors/designers concerning project cost, staffing, and scheduling. Prepares project status reports and works to ensure plans adhere to contract specifications.

Achieves operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing change. Meets financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing budgets; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

Who we’re looking for:

Experience in developing proposals and project management. Effective staff supervision and process improvements must be able to tracking budget expenses, and planning. Must be motivated by self-development. A Bachelor's degree in engineering with at least 2 years of experience in the field is desired.

Successful applicant should be familiar with a variety of construction concepts, practices, and procedures.
