The credit analyst position is accountable for the entire credit granting process, including UCC filings, the consistent application of a credit policy, periodic credit reviews of existing customers, and the assessment of the creditworthiness of potential customers, with the goal of optimizing the mix of company sales and bad debt losses. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of relevant credit experience. Preferred candidate must have background in corporate credit or finance. As well as a history of accomplishments in the field from strong negotiation skills with detailed reconciliation result.

Primary Job Responsibilities:
  • Establishing credit lines & monitoring
  • UCC and lien filing
  • Completion of lien waiver documentation
  • DSO calculation
  • Enforces credit policy and assure adherence to accepted standards
  • Guide and educate the sales team and customers
  • Support / develop new processes and procedures for the credit department
  • Work with Internal Audit and Compliance departments to ensure compliance and controls
  • Represents credit administration in inter-department projects and cross departmental process workflow
  • Skillful communication with sales team and customers
  • Uses several Tyco systems to perform credit, customer service, and reporting accurately
  • Other duties as assigned.


  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Management (preferred) and/or equivalent years of successful work experience in a credit environment

  • 5 years of credit experience required
  • Experience in developing and implementing new processes and procedures for the credit department required
  • UCC filing and lien experience required
  • Completion of lien waiver documentation required
  • Previous commercial credit experience required
  • Microsoft Excel and Word proficiency required
  • Experience with credit scoring systems
  • Thorough knowledge of credit-related laws
  • Knowledge of principles and techniques used in conducting credit review and financial analyses
  • Knowledge of financial and accounting principles, practices and procedures
  • Able to adhere deadlines on a timely manner
  • Strong communication skills for negotiation & reconciliation
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks/projects; work under time constraints with minimal supervision and keen attention to detail
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills; skill in preparing management reports on a timely basis
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written & oral)
  • Willingness to accept responsibility for job duties
  • Ability to handle confidential material

  • Intermediate – advanced computer knowledge (Microsoft Excel, Word, GetPaid, Carms, CBS, Admin, and Compass, Access)
