Reporting to the Plant Supervisor, the production worker will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:
Performing hands-on execution of manual and automated blending/filling operations.
Weighing raw materials into mixing tank, mixing raw materials to make finished product.
Transferring finished product from mixing tank into proper shipping containers.
Filling and packaging drum, pail, and bulk totes from bulk storage tank or production kettle.
Keeping production areas clean and organized at all times.
Receiving materials, loading from manufacturing to our warehouse.
Unloading trailers, picking and staging products; performing other duties as assigned.
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
Strong math and reading comprehension skills, basic computer skills.
Minimum 2 years relevant experience required.
Must be able to lift approx. 50 lbs.
Previous forklift experience.
Shipping and receiving.
Works effectively and productively with others.
Flexible and adaptable to changing circumstance and new challenges.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Conscientious work ethic relating to company procedures and health & safety.
Ability to multi-task and teamwork is a must
Training will be provided on an as needed basis.
