We are looking for Chief Financial Officer to play a strategic role in the overall management of the company and to prepare the company for an IPO. The scope of the role: Strategic Assist in formulating the company's business strategy Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive management team Develop key performance measures that align with the company's strategic goals Develop financial and tax strategies Supervise acquisition process and negotiate terms and conditions of acquisitions Going public Prepare company for an IPO Represent the company with investment bankers and investors Personally review and approve all filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission Operations Manage the accounting, tax and treasury departments Manage budgeting processes Control of the implementation of business plans Arrange for debt and equity financing Oversee the subsidiary companies and foreign operations Communications and reporting Maintain in-depth relations with all members of the management team Oversee the issuance of financial information to external parties Report financial results to the board of directors Report risk issues to the audit committee of the board of directors Maintain relations with external auditors and investigate their findings and recommendations Compliance Understand and mitigate key elements of the company's risk profile Develop and monitor reliable control systems Ensure that the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements Ensure that record keeping meets the requirements of auditors and government agencies Monitor all open legal issues involving the company, and legal issues affecting the industry Qualifications: MBA in Finance and the Certified Management Accountant designations significant proved progressively responsible experience working in similar role for a major company or division of a large corporation must have experience in partnering with multicultural diverse executive team has a high level of written and oral communication skills has proven successful work experience preparing a high-tech company for an IPO has proven experience in running International Public Company has proven significant work experience applying Sarbanes - Oxley (SOX) act additional languages will be an asset This is a full time permanent position based on 40 hours/week with the annual salary of $200K and competitive benefits package including extended health, vision, dental and disability insurance, four weeks paid vacation from the start, up to 6 paid sick and bereavement days per year, gym membership, subsidies in exceptional circumstances, professional membership reimbursement and training subsidy.
