Key Energy Services Team Deliverables by 2021:
  1. Deliver Enhanced, Rebid and New business across all business units both integral to wider FM services and direct to market

  4. Deliver improved operational energy management with a progressive development of business approaches so that service and gain share opportunities are maximised

Job Purpose & Responsibilities
To support the overall Interserve Energy Operations Centre in providing a compliant, sector leading energy services delivery model based around:
  • Precise invoice validation, following established processes and procedures, engaging with key stakeholders (contract teams, suppliers etc)
  • Providing clear, credible and robust reporting using the existing monitoring and targeting software
  • Supporting the evolution of energy data into useful energy management information
  • Maximise opportunities for energy reduction within client portfolio, providing analysis and information relating to potential energy saving opportunities
  • Act as day to day team lead, giving clear guidance and instruction, and supporting the Bureau Manage
This position is key for the future development of the Interserve Energy offer, supporting the current and future energy services contracts.
  • On a regular basis, undertake invoice validation services to nominated contracted clients
  • Using incumbent monitoring & targeting software portal, deliver regular reporting
  • Support any contract mobilisation, using predetermined processes, providing compliant output
  • Understand and work to specific SLAs/KPIs determined from the contract
  • Take ownership and engage with key utility suppliers and necessary stakeholders as a result of invoice validation to resolve queries to a satisfactory outcome
  • Act as day to day support to Bureau Manager, guiding and directing operational requirements, ensuring team deliverables are met
  • Engagement with Energy Services team, and with Support Services operations teams
  • Ensure full compliance with all standards, policies, processes and procedures and with all external legal, regulatory and voluntary code obligations, thus enabling the client to be provided with a high quality, professional and compliant service

Knowledge skills & experience:
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Proven background in working in an energy services team - highly desirable
  • Demonstrable experience in leading teams
  • Strong background in working with Optima energy management software platform - highly desirable
  • Track record of working with large data sets, with appreciation of data visualisation
  • Knowledge of MOP/DC/DA market
  • An understanding of energy and carbon management terminology, principles and methodologies
  • Proven ability with Excel and other data analytic tools
