My client is currently looking to recruit a Records Manager to be responsible for Document and Records Management across the organisation and to develop and manage systems to support this and to play a strategic role in raising awareness of the importance of Document and Records within the Information Governance Team.
You will manage the integrated system e.g. referencing, storage, retrieval, transfer, security and disposal.
You will work with others in identifying corporate and business continuity risks, design and deliver organisation wide programme of records management, and develop and deliver Policies, guidance and training for officers in document and records management
To be considered, you will need to demonstrate.
Sound understanding of current records management professional practices and standards (including ISO15489), especially electronic records.
Ability to communicate effectively, work collaboratively and in partnership internally and externally in the public sector to influence and provide service delivery and also ability to deliver presentations.
Experience of maintaining Information Asset Registers and Information Risk Registers, and experience of developing and delivering records management strategies.
Relevant qualification in records management, educated to degree level or equivalent
Design and delivery of a performance management framework for document and records management
