IT Support Analyst - Mac Environment|
Location: Commutable from Chessington, Epsom, Leatherhead, Esher
Technical Skills: 1st & 2nd line support within Mac OS environment, some Windows OS, VMware, Citrix, Exchange, Outlook, VPN, Blackberry
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Support Analyst to provide first and second line technical support for a UK wide organisation with an impressive client range both in the public and private sector inc many blue chip multi national companies.
You will be tasked with supporting a user base of 400, providing technical support within a Mac and Windows based environment, both desk side and over the phone. You will be highly engaging, personable and comfortable speaking with people at all levels of the organisation.
As a Support Analyst your responsibilities will include:
* 1st & 2nd line support.
* Resolve hardware and software problems.
* Laptops and desktops - set up, configure, install and fault find.
* User moves
* Set up and config core servers
Skills required for this Support role include:
* Previous helpdesk experience
* Strong Mac OS knowledge and Mac applications
* Exchange and Outlook
* MS Office 2007
* Citrix, VPN and Firewall config
* Routine of day to day operations - backups, system checks etc.
