If yes, the successful IT Systems Administrator will be someone who is confident in their technical ability, an excellent communicator and has the hunger and passion to develop themselves by getting involved with future Infrastructure project work.
As the IT Systems Administrator you will be assisting with all technical requirements within a Windows Environment. Future projects will allow you the opportunity to help with the design and implementation of the company's Infrastructure necessities.
The successful IT Systems Administrator will be able to speak confidently and demonstrate examples of supporting and using the following essential skills;
o MSCE Qualification (min Server 2003, pref. 2008/2012)
o Extremely strong background in Windows server and desktop technologies (Server 2008/2012, Windows 8.1/10)
o Experience in virtualisation technology (pref. VMware )
o Active Directory management experience (Including Group Policy)
o Networking knowledge and experience (switch configuration inc. VLAN trunk/access, STP)
o DRP Skills firm grasp of backup techniques, irrespective of technology used.
o Storage technologies iSCSI, DFS
o Exchange 2013 management, on premise and O365.
o Problem solving skills, able to find a resolution to issues without support
My client has approximately 60 staff in total and you will be joining a dedicated team with a family/ close knit feel where staff are valued, work closely together as a team and you will be made to feel welcome. You will be encouraged to make recommendations to both the Head of ICT and the Managing Director who are very approachable and open to new ideas as you'll interacting with all departments.
The IT Systems Administrator can expect to achieve a salary of 25-30,000 depending on experience with a company laptop and phone.
