A Business Change Manager is required for 3 months (likely to be extended) based just north of Birmingham.|
The Business Change Manager will act as a Business Change Manager within Children's Services Directorate for case management and finance system implementation. The Business Change Manager will work closely with the lead social work professional for Children's Services and other operational managers to plan and coordinate the requirements for Finance work-stream from the business view point and work collaboratively with the implementation team and other stakeholders to achieve a successful delivery. You will promote good practice and new ways of working in support of implementation and act as an effective interface between the systems implementation team, systems team, performance management and senior management teams to positively influence change and get buy-in from the business and other stakeholders through effective communication, negotiation, training and support. You will support and implementation team in producing end-user guidance notes to support end users, trainers and support desk.
Experience/skills required -
Experience of working in Children's Social Care project environment
Good understanding and experience of Children's Social Care working practices including legislation (i.e. Children's Act 1989, Children and Family Act 2014, Working Together to Safeguard Children 2015, etc) and the role of ICT systems in supporting their application in practice
Experience of business process analysis to positively influence systems implementation and enforce good practices through effective stakeholder and relationship management as Business Change Manager
Good understanding and practical experience in using social care case management system with an appreciation of the benefits of an integrated finance systems (preferably Mosaic or Framework-I systems). How an integrated finance system can support the council in effectively managing its finances and improve services delivery.
Excellent communication and organisational skills with the ability work in a pressurised environment, prioritising and managing workloads to meet tight deadlines.
Ability to work flexibly and be able to adapt to the changing demands of the programme environment and taking on other duties as may be required within the scope of the role
Ability to work within the scope of the council's policies for Performance Management, Equal Opportunities, Data Protection Act, and Financial and Security Standards
This role is to start Mid November and will pay £350-£400 per day (Ltd Umbrella)
