Inside Sales Representative - Software Sales|
You will be working within the Sales & Marketing teams, reporting to the Marketing Manager. You will be regarded as the transition point for marketing appointments from marketing to sales and therefore the first point of contact in the sales process.
You will be allocated a pot of leads, in which you will be responsible for developing a database of suitable prospects. This will be managed and reviewed in the form of a pipeline. The pipeline will be your nurture pot to provide a regular stream of BANT qualified leads & appointments/web-demos to the EMEA Sales team.
You will work to achieve KPI's, learning to qualify leads and pipeline into appointments/web-demos, whilst maintaining your pipeline of cold and warm leads to ensure maximum ROI from our marketing activities/campaigns.
To provide a minimum on target number, of fully qualified leads & business appointments/web demos, using the agreed Qualification Criteria (BANT), for our EMEA Sales team based in the UK. Follow up and process inbound leads. Participate in outbound activities.
To ensure that the brand values are reflected within each and every interaction.
Create excitement with prospects and generate demand for our solutions.
Ensure every enquiry is managed in the optimum manner.
Monitor your own call rates and lead generation results - and actively work to improve these using the daily report to monitor yourself against and achieve the set KPI on this.
Build your knowledge of customer case studies within multiple industry sectors.
To actively participate in the regular training and call reviews undertaken by the Marketing & Sales team.
To be happy to present your monthly results in front of your peers if required. This usually takes the form of feedback on your monthly results to other colleagues, this also could be in the form of weekly morning meetings where your input is valued.
To participate and attend some exhibitions and meetings, some occasional overnight stay away from home may be required.
To work in accordance with the company's policies and procedures.
To approach both outbound and manage inbound leads from prospective future prospects.
Desired Skills and Experience
Outgoing personality and an understanding of how a business operates.
A clear and precise communicator.
Ideally educated to degree level.
More than 1 year inside sales experience, ideally in a similar role for an enterprise software company.
The ideal industry sector is Enterprise Software (BPM, CRM, ERP, BI, ECM etc) that require a high level of ability, to sell a solution that could include HR, Payroll, Finance, Automation & Process Improvement software.
The ability to build relationships both internally and externally.
Able to work on own initiative or as part of a team.
Able to work to tight deadlines in relation to completing campaign calls.
The ability to provide excellent references from previous employers/tutors.
Strong on administration skills
A good understanding of MS Office suite is essential, and preferably business social networking sites such as LinkedIn, Viadeo & XING.
An understanding of Microsoft Dynamics CRM
Results driven, persistence, time management, telephone sales experience, excellent customer service, selling to customer needs, prospecting skills, motivation for sales, can handle rejection, professionalism, product knowledge, highly motivated, self-starter, strong administration skills, and telemarketing sales experience
