Wise Employment currently have 3 fantastic openings for IT Service Agents to join a well-established Electronics Company in Swindon to assist customers with any type of service query varying from technical support to pre sales enquiries.

We are looking for individuals who have a technical background and knowledge in order to deal with the customer`s enquiry quickly and promptly. However, this doesn`t have to be technical work experience, you may have studied IT at College/Uni and are now seeking a role within IT or you may have a vast array of IT knowledge from a hobby or helping your friends and family with laptop hardware & software issues.

This is an ongoing temporary assignment with the possibility of going permanent for the right Candidate. You will be working Monday-Friday 9am-5pm and must be prepared to undertake the occasional overtime hours.

You main duties will include:

- Registering customers by obtaining customer details and product details
- Checking and updating customer and product details for customer calling
- Troubleshooting to determine hardware, software or user error
- Take issue through to a final conclusion on a wide range of products varying from PC/NBs to Televisions/Tablets
- Provide customers with accurate instructions throughout the duration of the call
- Liaise with internal and external departments when needed in order to resolve customer queries such as repair chases, sales and information requests
- Dealing with any administration tasks assigned such as email requests, returns labels, repair updates and call back requests
- Tech support via email
- Responsible for supporting customers via the online web chat

Skills required:

- A good working knowledge of Microsoft operating systems
- Excellent data entry accuracy
- General knowledge of popular software and packages
- Ability to control and calm situations through to conclusion
- Excellent customer service skills and telephone manner
