Senior Technical Consultant|
Cheshire, WA14 2UN
From £44,(Apply online only) (Depending On Experience & Qualification)
Back in 2006 Ed Shropshire set out to build a platform that removed the IT burden for companies, by giving them the tools to build and manage their own automated processes to run their businesses more efficiently and cost effectively.
Ten years on we are rapidly expanding with our Head Office based in the North West of England, with additional offices in Oxford, Ireland and North America.
The majority of our clients operate in the insurance, commercial banking and personal finance markets. We take corporate governance extremely seriously and are proud to be an ISO 27001 and 9001 certified company.
You are bright, sociable and articulate. You relish self-improvement and pick things up quickly. You thrive in a collaborative, supportive environment and possess a positive 'can do' attitude. You are a pragmatic problem solver with a great eye for detail.
You are reliable, tolerant, flexible and fair with the ability to get on with all internal and external clients. You have experience of being able to consistently add value to each client interaction with customer service being at the forefront of your mind.
You are a proven leader, capable of managing time effectively within financial and operational budgets and internal/external timescales.
You are an experienced and confident Senior Technical Consultant with a flair for following 'best practice' in relation to project management and delivery. You will act as a management architect, project lead and advisor to all internal and external clients. You will be responsible for leading a small team to build and deliver enterprise solutions, delivered on time and within budget.
You will be an excellent and confident communicator, leading both technical briefings and business requirement gathering sessions. You will possess excellent written and oral skills in order to document requirements, author technical documents, attend and chair meetings as well as designing and documenting integration needs.
There will be a natural overlap in this role with other departments such as assisting in sales, support and development. The successful applicant will be asked to travel within the UK and occasionally abroad.
Although this is primarily a project management lead role, we are looking for a Senior Technical Consultant willing to 'get their hands dirty' on certain projects. Our platform is built on C#/.net technologies but you will use Microsoft SQL in your day to day. We are interested in hearing from people with experience of:
* Microsoft SQL Syntax
* Formal Project Management qualifications
* 5 + Years' experience with proven solution engineering and real-world delivery experience
* Expertise in Windows operating systems and Windows applications in general
* Flair for problem solving and investigative skills
* Collaborative, supportive leader experienced in mentoring and leading a team
* Keen attention to detail
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Super-organised with the ability to organise multiple tasks in order to meet deadlines
