Python Developer (Senior) - Travel Platform - GAIN Microservices|
Python Developer (Senior) required for a nationally renowned Travel firm they work on a comparison platform that is used to show where to get the best deals on certain hotels, they also allow direct booking through their website, making it the one stop shop for hotels and planning your holiday.
The Python Developer (Senior) will be working on their platform to add new features and to streamline the existing functions. In particular they are in the process of adding a new payment system into their website. This role is predominantly working on backend Development as they already have a dedicated front end team.
The successful Python Developer (Senior) will have experience of working within highly Agile teams where TDD and BDD are fully implemented and everything they do is as Agile as possible. Key skills we are looking for include Python ideally along with a Framework be it Django or Flask as these guys actually use both on their platform! They also use AWS in order to host their servers and are currently investing heavily into Microservices so there is a real opportunity to work with a great technical stack. They always pick the best tool for the job, so won't always hop on the latest bandwagon of new tech until it has been proven to be the best tool for the job.
