Our Client, one of the largest re-sellers in the country, are looking to expand their Telecoms division.

The primary focus of the role is cross sell a full suite of telecom services into the existing IT customer base. You will have your own team of ten internal IT Account Managers, your own Telephone Appointment booker and a Sales Support Executive.

The role involves working with your internal team of IT Account Managers to uncover telecom opportunities for you to close.

Our client also have a unique salary & commission structure which pays Business Development Managers full on-going revenue share for all telecoms services including calls & lines, broadband, data services, networks and business mobile.

Essential Requirements

The successful candidate must have the following:

• A proven track record in business to business telecom sales
• At least 3 years' experience selling voice & data solutions
• Pre sales technical ability to build bespoke telecom solutions
• Proven ability to drive and develop existing accounts
• A professional approach to achieving revenue targets
• Proactive, tenacious attitude (coupled with a good sense of humour)
• Exceptional communication skills and the confidence to present to board level
• Ability to self-manage and use own initiative

Ideal Requirements

Ideally the candidate will have:

• A successful career to date working with a telecoms reseller, dealer, network or service provider
• Proven team management & account development experience
• A well-developed network of "end user" business contacts
• Experience of selling telecom solutions including:
-Business Mobile - O2, Vodafone, EE preferred
-Calls & Lines - PSTN, ISDN
-Data Connectivity - ADSL, EFM, FTTC, Leased Lines, WAN & MPLS
-VoIP & IP Telecoms - SIP, Hosted Telephony
-Hosted & Cloud Based Services- Unified Communications, Colocation
-Telephone Systems - ShoreTel & Mitel preferred
