As a result of recent expansion, an established building inspection company seeks to recruit a Surveying Inspector for warranty schemes.|
Your role as Surveying Inspector will be home based with occasional visits to the regional office and you will cover the Midlands area.
You will provide site inspection and building and construction expertise relating to risk management of construction sites for Warranty Schemes.
Your day to day duties will include:
-Inspecting homes being constructed are in accordance with the technical manual and building regulations
-Carry out final inspections on homes
-Carry out developer assessments at completion of projects
-Undertake site inspections to assess the quality and cause/effect of building defects.
-Liase with surveyors/management and developers/clients/builders and offer guidance
The successful candidate will be a Surveyor, Residential Construction Inspector or a Clerk of Works with Residential experience.
You will have experience working for a company inspecting residential projects and have knowledge of building regulations.
You will be HNC/HND or NVQ Level 4 in a construction discipline or student member of RICS/CIOB/CABE or ICWCI
You will have a full UK driving license

They carry out risk management site audits to ensure technical compliance with the warranty standards. This inspection division employs graduates, inspectors, surveyors, project coordinators and managers across the UK, and undertakes inspections for all their schemes.
