Bid Manager / Permanent / North Lincolnshire.|
My client is a well established medium build main contractor looking for an experienced Bid Manager to work within their North Lincolnshire regional office.
The successful candidate will lead, manage and coordinate the process of designing the solutions, estimating the costs and planning the implementation of projects in order to meet or exceed customer's requirements.
Experience for working with bids on projects up to £80m in value across the Education, Healthcare, Distribution and Commercial sectors with Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and Humberside.
? Able to follow the companies estimating and design management procedures and ensure they are implemented at each stage of the bid management/tender process
? Able to lead teams and mentor.
? Previous experience of managing bids taking a competitive tender to a winning bid
? Ensure that bids are completed in a timely fashion, ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure
? Liaise closely with the client team.
? Develop relationships and maintain close contact with key decision makers throughout the bid process
? Understanding and experience of the principles of current forms of procurement.
? Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with an ability to form effective relationships with partners under time pressure
Qualifications / Experience
* MCIOB or MRICS qualified (or similar) preferred
* Design; planning; project management or estimating qualification
* Excellent communication
* Previous experience within a main contractor and pre construction
