Senior Project Manager **** 2 Opportunities Available****|
£50-£60k open ended plus car allowance, pension, healthcare, 25 days hols
We have two roles available within this expanding main contractor based in the North West, delivering schemes which consist of Industrial, Commercial, Health or Leisure led schemes.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
-Established Project manager with minimum 10 years' experience in similar role.
-Ability to compile, monitor and report against contract, short term and target programmes.
-Team player with the ability to nurture and manage the site team, ensuring objectives are met in line with individual roles and responsibilities and PDP's and that team members are supported in their role.
-The ability to manage the design process from conception to completion including information flow, budget, value engineering, designer co-ordination, in line with agreed dates and project specification and ensuring compliance with all statutory bodies.
-Possess a good understanding of the commercial elements of the projects under their control, establishing good working relationships with the commercial team to develop subcontractor packages, advise on technical elements, record variations and maximise project margin.
-A thorough understanding of current health and safety legislation and the ability to communicate and implement the company's Health and Safety Policy, standards and procedures at a site level.
-Ability to compile internal and external reports with the confidence to deliver such reports to external bodies in a professional manner.
-The ability to chair and minute meetings including design and co-ordination meetings.
-Ability to manage projects with a value ranging from £5m - £20M, with a proven track record in new build, refurbishment and fast-track fit out projects, ideally in the hotel and/or student accommodation sectors.
-Ability to manage timely information requirements, technical requirements.
-Ability to liaise in a professional manner with the client and their representatives.
-Ability to use ASTA, Microsoft Project or similar, together with cloud-based collaborative portals.
-Ability to develop and execute an efficient internal communication strategy for ensuring communication with all levels of management within the team and the supply chain.
-Lead the Collaborative Planning workshops ensuring buy-in from the project team and key members of the supply chain.
-Be experienced in co coordinating trades, monitoring quality, progress and safety on site
-Ability to compile and implement a project specific community engagement plan and environmental management plan
