My client have been established for over 45 years and have a respected reputation with blue chip clients in the high end interior fit-out, new build, refurbishment and facilities management sector; managing projects from £25,000 up to £40m. Their projects are primarily in Central London with works also across Kent, Essex and Surrey. |
There excellent reputation within the construction industry has resulted in a sharp upturn in new projects. They now have a new role for a Health & Safety Advisor they wish to appoint for during this exciting time.
As Health and Safety Advisor with at least 3 years experience for a main contractor, your key duties will include:
-Maintain good health and safety practice on construction projects, office, and warehouse environments
-Assist with the review, and update, of Health & Safety Policies, documentation and procedures
-Arrange training, and refresher training,for all group personnel, to include upkeep of Training Records
-Carry out holistic Fire Risk Assessments within a construction environment
-Carry out Accident / incident reporting - to include analysis and identification of the root cause
-Provide practical input, and assist with continual improvements to the following accreditations - OHSAS18001, ISO14001 & ISO 9001
It would be a major advantage if you have experience of working for a main contractor due to the nature of the projects that you will be involved with.
It is essential for this role that you live within 45 minutes commute from Maidstone.
