We are seeking a permanent Project Manager to be based out of offices in Leeds working on sites UK wide on mainly rail related civil engineering & infrastructure projects. The company we are recruiting on behalf of is expanding at an impressive rate and this opportunity has come about on the back of further project wins. |
The company had a turnover of around £7 Million per annum and they expect this to rise to £15 Million in the next 12 -24 months. Their mainly operate within the rail infrastructure sector but also get involved in other infrastructure projects including commercial works.
We are looking for a candidate that can oversee multiple small projects or one single large project circa £6 Million in value. Ideally the applicant would come from an engineering or technical background, be degree qualified (preferable not essential) and have experience of delivering turnkey projects from design through to handover. Applicants with rail experience and interfacing with network rail and hold a PTS card again would be preferable but not essential. Applicants need to be able to use MS Project planner and or P6 planning software have a SMSTS or NEBSOH and CSCS certification.
We are looking for people with diverse knowledge as projects include pilling, reinforced concrete, formwork, deep drainage, trench work, structures, M&E interface, earthworks. Being a project manager role this is a client facing role and you will be expected to have good technical, commercial profit and loss acumen.
Our client currently has projects in Worksop, Manchester and London. The company offers a very competitive salary, overtime should the job require working over the weekend or nights, they will also provide accommodation when working outside of region where required.
