Our client is a Midlands based building contractor with various housing projects across the East and West Midlands. We are currently looking for an experienced small works contracts manager on a permanent basis.|
Reporting to the operations director you will take responsibility for the day to day running of the project. Your duties will include:
* Planning and scheduling projects.
* Planning and allocating resources.
* Managing the delivery of projects on time, within budget and to quality standards.
* Monitor and report on site progress to the Operations Director.
* Liaise with clients on a regular basis regarding project progress.
This position is to start as soon as possible and the hours of work will be approximately 7:30 - 5pm Monday to Friday, although there may be additional hours available to suit the needs of the project.
To be successful in the role you will have previous experience as a Contracts Manager on residential new build and refurbishment projects, you will possess excellent communication skills, the ability to manage a budget and good problem-solving skills.
Ideally you will hold CSCS and First Aid certificates and it is also desirable that you hold membership of a recognised professional body, be educated to degree level or equivalent and have previous experience in a similar role with a full UK driving license.
