My Client is a principle contractor with a worldwide presence as well as being one of the UK's leading contractors. Priding themselves on taking an inclusive, responsible and innovative approach to everything they do, this client has a wide variety of operating divisions and is best known for major projects.

This role is with a unique function within my client's highway division. This part of the business established a contact centre in 2005, initially to delivered a full range of services for the highways sector. However over the last 3 years, it has increased it's services across my client's many UK operating units. As an essential part of the business the contact centre is relied upon to assist in all contingency plans and provide a continuous 24/7, 365 operations service to both internal and external clients

As a result of a long serving member of staff leaving to set up their own business, the contact centre has a requirement for a Contact Centre Co-ordinator to join their team in Birmingham. The successful candidate will be responsible for all customer interaction by telephone, and recording accurate data in the company's bespoke systems. They will be recording incidents and occurrences, involved with onward reporting and responsible for the continual monitoring of live events.
Due to the nature of the operation, this role is based on a working pattern of 12 hour shifts on a 6 week rota (7am-7pm, and 7pm-7am) and the work averages out at 40 hours per week

This client is looking for a confident, motivated and driven candidate. This candidate should be computer literate, have excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills as well as have the ability to operate a number of different systems simultaneously. Whilst pervious experience of working within the civils and highways industry isn't necessary, experience of working within a client contact operation or environment would be of real benefit. Full training will be provided during the initial 3 month period, and this client offers internal training courses to enhance knowledge and development
