Regionally within South Pacific, our Kilsyth office house 120 dedicated and loyal employees who provide sales, manufacturing and distribution coverage for our operations locally. As part of our commitment to deliver the Cummins vision of legendary sales, service and support, we currently have an exceptional 12 month opportunity for a Sales and Marketing Intern. Commencing in the beginning of February 2017, the successful applicant will play a pivotal role in supporting our Sales and Marketing divisions by providing:
  • Market research and analysis covering industry trends, competitor intelligence and opportunity prioritisation
  • Catalogue management including ownership of research, preparation and publication to promote a greater product offering to current and prospective customers
  • Project management including the development of timelines, metrics and deliverables
  • Data collection and analysis with the intent of presenting recommendations to the business on how to increase market share and brand awareness
To be considered for this unique and career rewarding opportunity, you MUST be in either the 3 rd or penultimate year of either a Marketing or a Business degree with a Marketing major. In addition, we are looking for students who possess:
  • A sound understanding of Sales and Marketing concepts and how Sales and Marketing can add value to a business
  • A highly analytical and data minded approach
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills
  • High levels of motivation, maturity and professionalism
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as effectively as part of a team
  • The desire to learn, develop and grow
  • Advanced MS Office skills
The successful candidate must be available to commence the position the week at the beginning of February 2017. Please be aware that this is a 12 month full time paid placement (Monday-Friday 9am-5pm). As such, the successful candidate will be required to defer their studies for the duration of the program. Our Kilsyth office provides onsite parking to all employees.
