You will see shadows are everywhere. Some look like unrecognizable blobs. Researchers are now showing that even indistinct shapes could reveal what's hidden around the corner, no Expensive equipment will be needed.

Simply by using an standard digital camera and a computer to analyze a shadow, the researchers will be able to reconstruct a scene that cant be seen from a camera's line of sight. The new experiment is the latest in a growing effort to develop ways to see around corners. This technology that could eventually be useful for all kinds of amazing activities. For example the military can use this method for undercover reconnaissance. Imagine what effects this can have on the development of self-driving cars and their ability to identify danger.

The ability to see around corners isn't a new thing. But while current available methods require expensive lasers and light-detection systems, this new technique uses equipment that ordinary consumers could buy for an affordable price.
