Position Overview:

Our team handles billing for TELUS Health and Payment Solutions which is very dynamic and growing fast. The THPS Billing Team reports to Revenue Assurance within Finance. The Billing Agent collaborates with various teams to ensure accurate and prompt billing.

Responsibilities:
  • Setup new customers in billing system
  • Submit address and name changes to customer accounts
  • Compile billing information from various sources and reports
  • Enter the billing information in the billing system (SAP) to generate invoices and credit memos
  • Billing customers in accordance with their legal contract terms
  • Maintain pricing models for services and customer-specific requirements
  • Prepare the documents for mailing to customers and government funding authorities
  • Responding to customer queries
  • Assist accounts receivable department with questions on overdue accounts
  • Adherence to regulations, privacy and confidentiality guidelines
  • Participate in ad hoc projects and initiatives
  • Qualifications

    Required Knowledge:
  • Intermediate to expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook
  • Practical invoicing and accounting experience
  • Knowledge of SAP
  • Required Skills & Abilities:
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Fluent in French and English
  • Maintain a high level of performance under the pressure of time constraints and a fast-paced changing environment
  • Demonstrated ability in planning and organizing to meet scheduled deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build good working relationships with internal and external clients
  • Maintain a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively compile information, analyze data and make sound judgments
  • Proactive in dealing with issues independently and adaptable to change
  • Experience dealing directly with customers concerning billing matters
