**Ingram Micro is looking for a Maintenance Mechanic (Millwright)

Shift - Mon-Fri 6am to 2:30pm

Responsibilities
To ensure the proper maintenance and installation of equipment in the distribution center.

  • May be responsible for coordinating the daily workflow within the maintenance group, including providing guidance/support to other members of the Maintenance team
  • Repair and maintenance of dock shelters, material transport systems
  • Troubleshooting of electro-mechanical conveyor and high rack storage systems including operation of production floor support
  • Repair, maintain and troubleshoot pneumatic and hydraulic systems
  • Perform preventive maintenance on all equipment
  • Participates in analytical problem solving and is able to make decisions relating to each problem encountered
  • Determines and orders spare parts as required
  • Installs new equipment
  • Relocation and modification of existing equipment
  • Operation of computerized maintenance system
  • Understanding of sprinkler systems
  • Work with and direct contractors
  • Welding fabrication as required
  • Complete any additional duties as assigned
  • Maintain service standards
  • Documented standards and procedures are adhered to at all times
  • Associate is Trained & certified in the operation of all power equipment
  • Maintenance repairs completed in a timely and precise manner
  • Being able to work after hours and weekends
  • Education and Experience:
  • Grade 12 high school diploma or equivalent
  • Government Certificate of Qualification-Industrial Millwright
  • Successful completion of a minimum of 2 e-learning courses completed on an annual basis
  • 3-5 years of experience in an automated distribution environment
  • PLC experience (preferably Allen Bradley)
