Modify maintenance records and key equipment with significant spares, setting reorder levels along with quantities. Provide assistance in tracking production downtime. Support department’s compliance to any Lean Manufacturing goals and objectives. Assist in Spare part management and organisation Provide assistance to engineering for spare parts preparation and PM Lists for new equipment Give every part a stock location so employees can easily locate Utilize an Inventory control system Centralize and consolidate parts Streamline the work order process Systematically identify all parts Must have a Grade 12 or GED or Equivalent Undergraduate degree / Diploma in Engineering Technology (Mechanical or Electrical) Previous knowledge Spare part management and organisation is an asset. Proficiency: Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Advanced Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Microsoft Access. Be able to identify manufacturing equipment spare parts Well developed analytic and interpretive skills required. Knowledge of routine maintenance practices, performances measures, planning tools and techniques Understanding of LEAN Manufacturing Equipment Condition Monitoring Proficiency in CMMS Be able to read and Interpret OEM Equipment Documentation Familiar with industry codes and standards such as CSA Knowledge of Preventive Maintenance Knowledge of Routine maintenance work on equipment Spare part management experience Strong interpersonal, communication, administrative and attention to detail. Motivated, self-starter who can work well independently or within a team environment
