Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the maintenance technician is responsible for the regular and preventive maintenance of the production machines or equipment in all departments. He or She must also ensure that the production equipment is in good working conditions and meets with the safety standards, foresee and perform preventive maintenance on equipment. Evening (3 pm to 11:30 pm) What you should expect:

  • Perform corrective maintenance actions that occur on his shift;
  • Carry out the preventive maintenance as per assignment;
  • Recondition defective parts;
  • Repair parts that need to be welded;
  • Complete work orders after each intervention in the maintenance software;
  • Participate in communication during the shift change and transfer of production information;
  • Ensure that all repairs are done safely with lockout equipment and that they are safe for other employees during operation hours;
  • Ensure that building equipment and production machinery comply with safety standards;
  • Participate in various plant improvement projects;
  • Be available for major breakdowns that exceed working hours when required;
  • Be available for training or scheduled maintenance on weekends;
  • Be available in rotation for emergency calls on weekends;
  • Respect existing EHS measures;
  • Maintain the 5S in the workshop and keep work environment clean during preventive and corrective maintenance;
  • Participate in inventory pricing;
  • Communicating with vendor technical support for failures that require assistance.

  • Diploma of professional studies in electro mechanics or a suitable combination of education and experience;
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar position
