New vacancy has become available for Process Engineers to join a large, well-established company in the nuclear sector. Opportunity to work with industry experts supporting a major nuclear project in their Warrington office. We are looking for someone who is pro-active, enjoys working and contributing in a team environment. Ideally with previous experience in highly regulated industries including nuclear, defence, oil & gas, refinery or water treatment.

Roles and Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a Process Engineer, you will be part of the team and work with the lead/senior engineers. Responsible for providing the design requirements and engineer capabilities of the project for both current and potential developments at the appropriate level of detail for preliminary and detail design phases. You must have the drive to pursue innovation in engineering, safety and delivery solutions.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree qualification in engineering or relevant subject.
  • Experience and familiarity with designing for delivery/implementation and associated project construction and execution.
  • Familiarity with modern CAE packages and interfaces for process plant design.
  • Knowledge of design and construction of similar industrial plants; including delivery of major capex projects for construction with an expertise in one or more specialist areas in their engineering discipline.
  • Experience with Gas Delivery Systems, Reagent Delivery Systems, DSEAR Assessment and Nuclear Analytical Lab Design.
  • Experience with Flowsheets, PFDs, EFDs, S&IDDs, Instrument Process Data Sheets and Process Data Sheets.
  • Knowledge of process systems, chemical preparation, gaseous exchanges and stored solids
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office products
  • Evidence of design capability working as part of a multi-discipline team.
  • Confidence and ability to work within supervised roles.
