An exciting opportunity is available for a Process Engineer, Polypropylenebased in Jubail and will report to Superintendent , Process Engineering Monomer
You will be responsible to Provide plant operation with Technical inputs and support for plant, Prepare different Heat & Material balance scenarios. Evaluate plant process and evaluate changes proposed to design, taking environmental and economic aspects into account. Work closely with process chemists and control engineers to ensure the plant is set up to provide maximum output levels and efficient operation of the facility. Set up scale-up and scale-down processes including appropriate changes to equipment design and configuration. Perform risk assessments, Manage cost and time constraints, Provide process documentation and operating instructions, Develop best practices, routines and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output. Optimize production by analysing processes; troubleshoot problems with manufacturing processes, evaluate equipment and processes to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations, propose improved manufacturing processes and applying new technologies. Monitor day to day plant process parameters. Handle the process engineering issues concerning plant change development, plant redesign, scouting and feasibility studies, new basis of designs, plant operation optimization, and operational support. Provide input for preparation Department Capital and Operating budgets and monitor annual expenditure budgets. Support technical studies / surveys with teams within Tasnee or external teams for the Process Engineering and other related issues. Operation and utility issue troubleshooting. Prepares required management of change with regards to international process Engineering standards and Best technical practices. Establish priorities of process efficiency research and development such as Cracking, hydrogenation & separation, new process technologies, improved process operations and energy systems. Reaction Kinetics and Catalysts Performance monitoring.
You will ideally be required to have the following minimum requirements: B.S Degree in Chemical Engineering. Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Polypropylene Plants. Strong command of business-level written and spoken English. Analytical thinking and problem solving. Stress management & Quality focus.
