If you are up to the challenge, this could be the role for you! Responsibilities:
  • Designs and develops products, components and systems using broad engineering concepts
  • Interfaces with engineers, providing CAD design from product inception to released fabrication drawings
  • Assists in product bill of materials (BOM) construction and projects pertaining to cell capacity and battery pack components
  • Provides support of material procurement by interfacing with suppliers
  • Synchronize and support mechanical vehicle integration
  • Coordinates with internal team regarding schedules, milestones and technical status
  • Qualifications and Skills:
  • Master's Degree/PHD in Engineering is required

  • Registration as a Professional Engineer in B.C. is highly preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in engineering required – automotive battery design
  • Experience in specifying / executing tests on cells in a laboratory environment
  • Knowledge of diagnostic techniques for cells and battery pack components
  • Open to relocation to Beautiful British Columbia
