Senior Engineer- Building Mechanics
In order to support the growth of our firm and represent the mechanical engineering expertise of our Building team at the Montréal office, the selected engineer will be called upon to assume responsibility for multidisciplinary projects and ensure their delivery in keeping with the standards of quality expected from CIMA+.
Responsibilities Working in cooperation with other managers within the sector, play an active role in the planning and implementation of effective operational strategies Participate in business development strategies for the sector, and in drafting offers of service Establish fees associated with offers of service Assume responsibility for client satisfaction and for the proper execution of major projects within the relevant field of expertise by implementing the controls required to attain the established quality, profitability and timeframe objectives May be involved in the planning, selection, setting of objectives and evaluation of resources Assign mandates, ensure that work is executed with thoroughness and within established deadlines, select and utilize effective and positive levers of mobilization and ensure healthy working relationships in compliance with the Company’s values Assume direct responsibility for deliverables, client contacts, budgets, deadlines, approval of extras and the financial progress of assigned projects Drawing upon personal expertise and experience, act as technical expert in designing projects, focusing on the sharing and transfer of acquired knowledge
Profile Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering for buildings Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec Minimum of 20 years of relevant experience, including heading engineering consulting projects LEED certification (LEED AP) Bilingualism (French and English – oral and written)
