Address and troubleshoots issues escalated by the Service Desk involving workflows, interfaces, and applications for the clinical, medical and biomedical applications used within the enterprise. Helps in ensuring the optimal usage of applications to meet the changing needs of the business.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties
1.Address and troubleshoot L2 issues escalated by the Service Desk involving workflows, interfaces, medical device connectivity, and applications for clinical, medical and biomedical applications used within the enterprise.
2.Assists end-user with packaged application report development as appropriate related to clinical, medical and biomedical applications
3.Manages application downtime and other issues by liaising with the appropriate Application Department and other relevant technical departments, as necessary.
4.Ensures downtime and other issues are communicated to relevant stakeholders and report back to stakeholders upon resolution.
5.Escalates unresolved issues to the relevant Applications & Health Informatics Department, as necessary (L3 support).
6.Oversees the development of training material for users of health applications.
7.Administers and implement standard and minor changes to certain applications for certain capabilities as indicated in the change classification matrix.
8.Deploys Downtime Medication Administration Record files and Pharmacy Medication files from ICIS to designated end-user devices in all wards and Pharmacy.
9.Assists end-user with packaged application report development.
10.Follows prescribed system safety and security procedures of computing environment.
Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Health Sciences, or related discipline is required.
Three (3) years of related experience with Master’s Degree, or five (5) years of related experience with Bachelor’s Degree is required.
