Summary

Join the team that brings Apple Books to millions of customers on Apple’s platforms. As a software engineer on our team, you will be responsible for building the next generation of audiobooks and digital books. You will work closely with designers, product managers, framework engineers and QA teams to develop Apple-class features for the book lovers around the world.

Key Qualifications

  • Strong object-oriented design skills
  • Deep understanding of Objective-C or Swift design patterns
  • Experience with UIKit, Core Animation, and the iOS SDK
  • Experience with Core Text highly desirable
  • Knowledge of multi-threaded, asynchronous code
  • Proven debugging and performance testing skills via LLDB and Instruments
  • Ability to write clean, well-factored UI code
  • Passion for quality and attention to detail
