Salary£19.14 per hourWe are looking for a friendly, flexible & reliable mechanic/technician who is able to work on their own initiative and will enjoy being part of a friendly and dedicated team. Working in a busy Engineering workshop, your role would include maintaining and repairing the company’s vehicles to strict standards set out by both Stagecoach and DVSA.Your Duties and Responsibilities:Repairing and maintaining the Company’s fleet of 26 modern vehicles to a high standardCarrying out preventative maintenanceCarrying out roadside and running repairs as necessaryRecognise and report vehicles component defects or symptoms which are likely to affect the reliability and safety of our fleet.Training and Qualifications:You should ideally be qualified to one of the following levels:PCV or HGV City and GuildsNVQ level 3You should ideally hold the following license:Full UK driving licencePCV driving license (preferred but training to obtain can be given after a qualifying period)You should be able to demonstrate competent use of the following diagnostic systems:Volvo VCAD and ImpactCummins InsiteActia MultiMux and MultiAidScania SDP3What we offer you:Competitive rate of pay plus regular overtimeTool allowance and weekend shift allowanceFree bus travel for up to 3 bus passes (conditions apply)Company pension schemeDay 1 sick pay (after qualifying period)34 days holiday including public holidaysAdditional yearly attendance holiday scheme38 hours a week over 5 days, Monday to FridayStagecoach workplace culture is one where everyone can be themselves and where all the differences our people bring to the business are celebrated.
